The Man....The Myth.....The Legend.......John Legend

My husband and I were supposed to see John Legend in Connecticut at a Casino, but due to Covid 19 it was cancelled and our money was returned. Then, I recently received an Email from Live Nation that his show was coming to Boston, MA at the Orpheum Theater. I was so excited and immediately ordered our tickets. I have been a John Legend fan for so long that there was no way I would miss his appearance in Boston. I loved the fact that he strolled the streets of Boston with his family and showed them where he once worked and lived and walked up to a street performer, who just happened to be singing one of his songs and gave her words of encouragement. What a man! During the Show, he did not disappoint us. He sang his heart out and I loved each and every song he sang! I was impressed that he did not have a 'gopher' during the performance to get his microphone, pick up and move his microphone stand or go get his stool and after the song return it to its' place. Those little nuances may seem small to some, but to me it showed his humbleness. I see a kind man who loves what he is doing and genuinely appreciates where he is in life. He spoke lovingly about his family and what they experienced this past year and a half. He did not disappoint me at all! He will forever be a 'Legend'. I even named my pup Louie LEGEND LaChance! By the way, I rarely go to concerts but he was one person I had to see. My husband and I are 71 and 73!
